Taking care of your family.

On a day to day basis we always think of ways to take care of our family. We financially make sure everything is taken care of, we buy clothes to keep ourself warm, and food to keep our bodies healthy.

Very few times we think about what will happen if we are no longer around.

We have most recently increased our insurance policies. Since I stay home and Margot supports our family we figured that her life insurance should be increased to cover our expenses if anything were to happen to her.

One website that offers great information on life insurance is FinancialOne.

Since Margot's in perfect health she is eligible for no-medical life insurance. Since I have a pacemaker and am overweight I'm not eligible for that program but I am eligible for the non-smoker's life insurance.

All in all, it's good to know that if you aren't around financially your family will be taken care of. The important part is to shop around and make sure that you get the best policy for the most reasonable cost.
