When we were traveling this summer to Las Vegas we came across this great website and actually ended up booking our accommodations online.
The whole idea is that VLBO offers vacation rentals by owner. The website is easy to navigate and easy to find a place to stay.
When we looked on the website we were able to find a 3 bedroom house, fully furnished, with a pool--rented by the week! It sounded like a great deal at the time--we were going to join up with a bunch of friends from both the left coast and the east coast, and split up among three or four couples, $1200/week didn't sound too bad! Unfortunately our lame friends backed out at the last minute, so we didn't actually get to stay at this awesome place. Maybe next time...
