I've got to do something!!

I just realized...that I'm just a few pounds away from being the fattest I've ever been.

Of course, I am nine and a half months pregnant...but still.

I worked very hard to get to a nice and comfortable weight and after the baby comes I really want to get back down.

I could go out and join the club again, however, I'm horrible at the treadmills and figure that it's summer time and with a new baby I might not have all of the time in the world.

Maybe I'll spend more time outside and even get a membership to the local swimming pool. That way I can take the kids, work on my tan, and be outside!

Are you secure?

Today Margot went to check on our friend C's birds. C&A are out of town visiting grandma in Dallas. Margot had no idea how to work the alarm and I'm assuming all went good because I haven't heard her calling from jail!

One system that seems pretty decent is ademco. It might actually be the perfect alarm system for our little house too and something we will probably consider if our redneck neighbors don't leave soon!

Maybe?

So as I'm doing all of my blogging I'm starting to realize that I've had some pretty decent contractions.

Holy shit.

Umm....is this it?

I think I'm just going to sit tight and continue to do "work". At least that way I can make a few dollars before little Emmy makes her appearance.

PLUS...it seems like everytime I get excited about contractions or the prospect of Emmy coming she stops and it all goes away.

MUST IGNORE PAIN.

Silver!

One thing that never loses it’s value is silver! Even when our stocks are floundering you can always look to silver, gold, and precious metals to maintain their value.

Monex Deposit Company offers silver, gold, and other precious metals for delivery or they will make arrangements to have your metals stored privately and securely at a bank or depository.

You can buy gold coin through Monex and they make it very easy through their website.

I didn’t realize this but Monex Deposit Company (MDC) is an industry leader. They sell gold in two forms: coin or ingot. The world demand now exceeds the supply demand for gold - which makes it a pretty smart investment.

I love the boys...

Alex and Dom.

I really do wish that they lived closer to us and we got to see them more. Alex arrived in Wednesday and we've had such a great time. Dominic arrived yesterday.

When they come down it's like we pick up where we left off last time.

Graem has gotten to the point of hopping on them and she calls them both "her friends."

She really loves them and I'm so glad that if anything were to happen we know she'd be cared and loved for by two great guys.

10 more days?

Yeah, right.

This is seriously going on forever and I can't tell when in the hell this little girl is going to get here!

I swear I've tried everything and nothing seems to work!

Do you think she wants to stay in there forever?

Take me away!

I can't wait to get away after we have the baby.

We booked our flights the other night to Houston and I was shocked that although we used frequent flyer miles Graem's ticket was still $525.00! It's a good thing that the baby flies free or else we really wouldn't have been able to go.

We have nothing on the agenda because we really don't know how Emerson is going to be and we don't know how well I'll be feeling after popping out the kid!

More than likely, though, when we get back from Houston we will take a few weeks of downtime and then go see Margot's family in Brooklyn. When we go there we always have big plans of doing stuff and then we end up doing absolutely nothing because driving in and out of the city is a pain.

There are so many things to do in New York that many times it can be overwhelming!

Trusted Tours and Attractions offer a newsletter which is like no other. It lists all of the great things to do in big cities and right now if you sign up you are entered to win a $150 iTunes gift card. Offer ends Saturday, May 31st, 2008.

We've also thought about heading to Boston to see another one of my friends who is a graduate student at Harvard. Of course, we'd be interested in Things to do in Boston!

Maybe we'll just stick with sightseeing tours. That way you don't have to worry about driving in a city you don't know. Plus, you don't have to pay for parking and you can just sit back and enjoy the ride!!

Excited and scared.

Last week I went to the midwife because I felt tons of pressure and assumed the baby dropped. I was a total wreck. I think I felt hurried.

I also had this whole idea that I would make it to 37 week and since day 1 that had been my goal.

When I was in the waiting room I had tons of contractions and then all of a sudden I get my blood pressure taken and it's on the high side.

So I assume that things aren't going good and of course I get worked up and start crying! I was also scared because I had told Margot that there was no need for her to come to the appointment and I'd call her if I needed her.

Well, that was probably the *one* appointment where I really needed her there!

All things worked out and I'm guessing it was just some fluky pregnancy thing where I tweak out and then I'm fine!

Where are you?!?!

So I'm totally just hanging out today and waiting for my water to break.

Each night before I go to bed I try to make sure that the house is in good shape, laundry is done, and everything is ready for the big moment!

I'm actually embarassed to admit that the other day I shaved my legs and other parts and due to the cold/hot weather I've gotten some weird rash all over!

The weather has been pretty decent lately - but I'm so sick of it getting cold! This morning it was in the 40's after being in the 70's the past few days.

I'm starting to get sick and have the whole drippy throat and runny nose thing going on.

I really can't wait to be able to take meds once this kid comes out. I've been too scared to take even a sudafed because I wanted to make sure that the baby is healthy. Heck, I've even stayed away from Tylenol!

We're in trouble.

This morning Margot woke me up to tell me about this tiny computer that was for sale on Buy.com! Of course, she wants it because I'm a computer hog and tend to work on blogging or email and she hardly gets her time.

She thinks it's a best buy and we should jump on it immediately!

Me, on the otherhand, am in no real hurry to spend $500! Why would I, right?

37 week belly shots.

A new watch?

I'm so glad that I'm getting through my to-do list. Before I know it I won't have anything on the list and it will be time birth the baby. (Yeah, I'm sure that's how it works, right?)

A few years back Margot purchased a new Skagen watch for me and it's been great. I just purchased a new batttery for it and I expect that it will be good as new!

However, I just saw the beautiful breguet watches and they are really great timepieces!

I was able to find some great watches at ViaLuxe! The website was easy to use and I like the set up. Not to mention, the pictures of the stunning watches are amazing. It makes me want to buy a few watches.

Of course, I'd have to spend Emmy and Grammy's college fund to do that. But you never know when I might hit the lottery! (I guess I'd have to play first, right?)

Not only are they classics with a great look...but they have a great reputation for being competent and hardy watches that can withstand almost anything!

God knows, I'm going to need a decent watch with two kids and and endless amount of baby barf landing on me!

I don't have a problem...

Really.

That's what we kept hearing every time we'd visit one of our loved ones. We were in denial too because it's much easier to not see a problem than to dive in and deal with it.

Little did we know that in a few short weeks it would get so bad that we'd be admitting our loved one into drug rehab.

It wasn't an easy decision...but one we had to make.

I'm glad we did because our loved one is doing well and on the road to a life free of drug addiction.
